A group of Forsyth students accept a copy of House Resolution No. 1428 from Representative Lyle Rowland congratulating the district on its third consecutive year receiving the Distinction in Performance Award. This recognition is based on the 14 academic performance standards that are the basis of the state’s accreditation program for all school districts, using the standards based on scores from the state-mandated MAP (Missouri Assessment Program) tests, ACT scores, Advanced and Career Education courses, College Placement, Career Education Placement, Graduation Rates, Attendance Rates, and AYP Subgroup Achievement to name a few. K-12 districts had to meet 13 out of 14 standards, including all of the MAP-based measures.
The Forsyth R-III School District has developed a Vision Project to use as a guideline in developing and implementing strategies to foster our students success in all areas. We ask that you would take some time to review this project and we would appreciate any feedback that you may have. As always, we are working hard to give our students the best educational opportunities that we can. It is our intent that this project will help us to focus on goals that will make that happen!
